There are other considerations to take into account in choosing the right name.

As for nailing that perfect screen name, it helps to start at the top of the alphabet, according to their newly released analysis.
While it won't force you to use your actual name or anything (even though that's become modus operandi for Facebook-linked apps like Hinge and Tinder), usernames have officially gone from required to optional.

"Those embarking on this medium can use the evidence-based approach from the outset," the researchers wrote.
Start by freewriting a long sentence or a few sentences about your interests, your strengths, the good parts of your personality, what makes you unique and what you want to enjoy with your future match. Or if you love a particular philosopher or poet, you could be something like “Ode To Sappho”. If you like taking risks, you could call yourself “Jump Right In”.
Or you could use or adapt a movie or TV character’s name if you particularly relate to them. If you find yourself smiling a lot, you could call yourself something like “Sunny Smiler”. Remember the aim is to find someone who will accept you as you are and love you for it.
